Deploy Your First sGTM Container

This guide takes you from an empty dashboard to a running tagging server.

Before you start

• A FlyNode account (create one).
• Your GTM container config, if you already have it (how to get it). It is optional at this step.

Deploy

1. Open sGTM Containers in the dashboard and choose Add container.
2. App details: enter a container name (up to 50 characters, shown exactly as you type it) and optionally paste your container config. The region is Falkenstein, Germany.
3. Server & domain: FlyNode generates a free your-name-xxxx.flynode.io URL. You can enter your own domain here too; it is attached after deployment once your DNS is ready.
4. Plan: if you already have an sGTM plan the container deploys under it. Otherwise pick one. The Free plan needs no card.
5. Review and deploy.

What happens next

The container's status moves from Deploying to Running, usually within a few minutes. If you skipped the config, the status reads Awaiting config and the container does not serve traffic until you add it.

Your tagging server URL

Open the container's Overview tab. Under Tagging Server URLs you will find the HTTPS address your website should send events to. SSL is set up automatically.
