What you get
Umami, set up the right way
Everything a production install needs, done for you when you click deploy.
The official Umami
Runs Umami's own Docker image (the PostgreSQL build), the same Umami you would install yourself.
Its own PostgreSQL
Each Umami gets a PostgreSQL 16 database of its own, created, health-checked and wired in for you.
Your own secrets
A unique app secret and database password are generated for your install.
Data that stays put
The database lives on a persistent volume, so restarts and redeploys keep your stats. Nightly backups are on.
Your domain, with SSL
Live on a name.flynode.io address the moment it deploys. Add your own domain and SSL is set up automatically.
Logs, metrics and a terminal
Watch Umami's logs, its RAM and CPU use, and open a shell or the database details from the app page.
We tested it
We deployed Umami on FlyNode on 4 November 2026
- Running about 40 seconds after we pressed Deploy, with its SSL address ready.
- 168 MB of RAM at rest, about 245 MB after the first visits: well inside the smallest Workspace.
- The catalog asks for at least 512 MB of memory and 0.5 CPU, so every size fits it.

How it works
Live in three steps
- 01
Pick a Cloud Workspace
Choose a size on the Cloud page. Umami has no plan of its own: it runs on your workspace next to any other apps.
- 02
Deploy Umami
Open the 1-click catalog, choose Umami, keep or type its address (name.flynode.io) and deploy. The database comes with it.
- 03
Log in and change the password
Umami's first login is admin / umami. Change the password straight away (and turn on two-factor), then add your website and its tracking code.
Sizes
Pay for the size, not the events
Umami needs at least 512 MB of memory and 0.5 CPU, so the smallest size runs it with room to spare.
Compare
Umami Cloud or your own Umami
Umami's own team runs Umami Cloud. On FlyNode you run your own copy on managed compute. Both are good; they suit different people.
| Umami Cloud | Your Umami on FlyNode | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Hobby free, Pro $20 a month, Business $200 a month | Your Cloud Workspace, from $3.95 a month |
| Events | 100K (Hobby), 1 million (Pro), 10 million (Business) included | No event limit from FlyNode; the size of your workspace is the limit |
| Websites | 1 (Hobby), up to 20 (Pro), unlimited (Business) | As many as you add to your Umami |
| Data kept | 6 months (Hobby), 2 years (Pro), 5 years (Business) | As long as you keep it, on your workspace storage |
| Who runs it | Umami's team, including upgrades | You own the app; FlyNode runs the server, SSL and backups |
Pick Umami Cloud when
You want Umami run by the people who make it, with nothing to look after, and your traffic fits a plan.
Pick FlyNode when
You want your data on your own install, many sites or long history without a higher tier, or other apps next to it.

Yes. FlyNode runs Umami's official Docker image. Umami is made by Umami Software and FlyNode is not affiliated with them; we provide the managed compute it runs on.
