The honest answer
Both are good. Here is when each one fits.
When Kinsta is the better pick
Choose Kinsta if
- You want expert help at any hour. Kinsta lists 24/7 support on its plans.
- You need a CDN with 260+ locations without setting anything up.
- You want migrations done for you, plus free malware removal and built-in APM.
- You need an uptime SLA or SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance. Kinsta's Enterprise plans include them.
When FlyNode is the better pick
Choose FlyNode if
- You want the lowest price. Workspaces start at $2.95 a month; Kinsta's entry plan is $35.
- You run more than WordPress. n8n, Ghost or your own apps can share the same workspace.
- You want backups in your own Google Drive, on a schedule you set.
- Your site gets traffic but your budget is small. Plans are sized by RAM and CPU, not by visits.
- Your team works from Git: private-repo sync for themes and plugins, staging and one-click rollback.
